X-15 Treatment Gel
An excellent treatment for minimizing the appearance of those harmless, yet
unsightly raised, dark brown growths (i.e., dermatosa papulosa nigra) that
occur on the faces and necks of 35% of African American men and women.
This gel is an odorless, oil-free aloe vera gel that contains glycolic acid*
(AHA's) which is a special group of naturally occurring weak fruit and food
acids found to reduce resistive dead cell build-up.
It works by dissolving a glue-like substance in the upper layer of the skin. This
dissolving causes the dead skin cells to slough off the surface more quickly
than usual. This increase in cell turnover stimulates the skin to increase
collagen production thus smoothing skin imperfections as well as improving
the overall strength and integrity of the tissue.
